This place is a great value. I got the meatloaf dinner with a side of corn and it was great, for the price I had lower expectations but It tastes just like homemade. :)

Small diner that is in a converted railway car. Food is good, nothing fancy just good food. Service is fast and friendly. Seems to be s local hangout. Would recommend!

Not being from the area, I had wanted to visit Peg's for a long time to check out this vintage Worcester Lunch Car diner. When I visited in February 2020, I found it to be a very friendly old-school diner. The diner is small, with counter seats and four tables. Many of the original features of the diner are still intact, like the original porcelain wall panels inside, as well as the intricate mosaic tile floor and the original stools and tables. The cook (Peg's son) was very friendly, and he cooked me a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and grilled corn muffin. The coffee was great. I really enjoyed the experience, and the prices were great. I'll definitely return if I'm in the area.

Great simple food, at old school prices. Sat at the counter. The man was quick and timely with just about everything. Ate with my wife and another couple and their daughter. Thought food would take forever but the cook was pretty amazing with how to manage her grill. Will definitely be returning for brekfast/ lunch. Perhaps their special Friday menu as well.

Called in an order around 12:30-12:45 and it was ready extremely quickly. The staff was super kind, too. They have a smaller menu but the prices are super cheap, this was my first time going and I will definitely go back to try other things. The Tuna melt was sort of greasy but it tasted great and it was white tuna. The clam chowder is a Friday special and was a really great cup of New England Clam Chowder, I definitely recommend it.

Been going here since I was a kid

Small diner, but speedy service with hot coffee and typical "diner" fare. Usually have breakfast food, but on a whim I had the fish & chips. Fresh fish not frozen, breaded in house not greasy! In a word YUM!

Never tried anything else besides the breakfast food which is great, the coffee taste better than any coffee ive had at any diner, food comes out quick and is made with quality ingredients, nice service, all around a nice little local place.

Best breakfast place in the country in my opinion. Old school diner, dirt cheap prices, quality food and company. I highly suggest if you come to the Blackstone valley you eat here at least once.

Very old school. Breakfast was delicious. Feels like you step through a time warp upon entering. Good thing is that the prices are time warped too. Definitely will return. Highly recommend, certainly a hidden gem in little Whitinsville.

Prices are great, and they gave us 2 dollar bills and dollar coins as change! Great staff :)

Favorite breakfast place by far! Friendly atmosphere, quick service. Everything I've ordered has always been served hot and exactly how ordered it which is saying alot because I can be picky). Most reasonable prices around especially considering the large portions. Gloria, the cook, is incredible. Crafting everything from a basic breakfast sandwich to a custom egg omelet. And the owner, Jim, greets everyone that walks through the door with a friendly good morning. By far my favorite place to have breakfast!!
